About DownloaderChecker

DownloaderChecker is an independent utility that shows where a short code currently leads. It exists so that destination, redirect, and change information is visible before a code is opened on a TV or Android device.

What this site is for

People share Downloader codes as a few digits. Those digits hide the final address. DownloaderChecker makes the current public destination and the redirect path visible.

Transparency

Each result is tied to a check time. The page shows the status in words, the hostname, and the number of redirects. Raw scanner logs stay off the public page.

Verification

Verification here means an automated HTTP check: the code was requested, redirects were followed, and the response was classified. It does not mean the destination was approved.

Redirect visibility

If a code passes through other hosts, those hops are listed. The final hostname is shown separately from the intermediate ones.

Historical changes

When a later check sees a different destination, the result keeps a public note of that change: the previous domain when it can be shown, the current domain, and the date.
